The Central Virginia SOCRA Chapter was established in 2013 in support of regional clinical research professionals in obtaining professional certification (CCRP®), provide opportunities in acquiring continuing education credit for (CCRP®) recertification, and professional networking. Chapter meetings and activities are open to all at no cost. The Wright Regional Center for Clinical and Translational Science at Virginia Commonwealth University supports the Central VA SOCRA Chapter within its workforce development program.
